This day-long event on September 30, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, will commemorate the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation through Indigenous artist exhibitions, education and fundraise for the newly-formed Métis Artist Collective: Kooshkopayiw (Awakening).
Over 20 Indigenous artist from across Ontario will be featured, as well as Indigenous musicians, drummers, dancers and storytellers. The Frybread Queen will be on site offering a selection of Indigenous foods.
